With Real Betis speaking this week about how a renewed deal for Arsenal’s Joel Campbell on loan was getting ever more unlikely, Aldia, the Costa Rican website, is reporting that Joel’s representative was in London yesterday to try and sort out the player’s immediate future.
There are a number of Premier League sides, including Crystal Palace, who are interested in signing the forward ahead of the new season and his agent, Joaquim Batica said
At the moment everything is still under analysis.
Anything can happen and you have to wait.
A number of websites are claiming that Campbell’s work permit, which is the reason he has been on loan for so long, should be a mere formality this season with Costa Rica fulfilling the FIFA requirements when it comes to rank and Joel playing the required number of games for his country.
If that is true then a loan in the Premier League would be best for both the player and Arsenal despite how happy Campbell was at Betis last season.
