Arsenal’s Santi Cazorla is currently on international duty with Spain at the Confederations Cup in Brazil and he’s been speaking to the Spanish media about his current Spanish teammates and his first season in the Premier League.
“I admire Iniesta because I see him as a special player, different. But I also think that the whole team is comprised of spectacular players with many options.
“I think we have a very important generational of great players in both the Under-21 and in the sub-20.
“It’s been an incredible year in the Premier [League] because I got my record for goals in this competition.”
Cazorla scored 12 goals in his debut league season in the Premier League. His previous highest goals tally in a league campaign was nine.
Asked who he thought would play in the Confederation Cup final, Santi replied
“I bet for a Spain-Brazil [final].”
