Sanogo – We can’t be complacent [plus goal video]

While the transfer hasn’t been confirmed by Arsenal, it is widely accepted that Arsenal have signed Yaya Sanogo on a free transfer after completing his medical and the young French player has been speaking to the media ahead of the last friendly for the France u20 side before the World Cup.

Sanogo said

Yes we are a few [people's] favourites. But it will not take us to fall into complacency.

The cohesion of the collective, that is what will prevail. Yes, sometimes we can rest on our laurels. This is where the danger is.

It is because we’re young. Sometimes in training, in a match, there is a lack of rigor, whereas when we are all focused, it’s coming directly.

In the u20’s last game, a friendly against Greece, Sanogo managed to get himself on the scoresheet.
