Arsenal youngster wants loan stay

Arsenal youngster Philip Roberts, who is currently on loan with Inverness until January wants to extend his loan spell according to Inverness manager Terry Butcher.

As reported in the Islington Gazette, Butcher said

I have spoken to some of the players and we will wait and see what they have to say. I don’t think anyone is playing badly at the moment and we don’t want anyone to go.

We have such a good young team and we regularly have around four players under the age of 21 in the starting line-up this season. Philip Roberts has indicated he would like to stay. We would like to get it concluded pretty quickly and I am very optimistic we will do it soon.

He is such a smashing kid and he is enjoying his football with us. It is a great credit to Arsenal for loaning him to us and there is so much more to come from him.

Roberts, who plays as a striker, signed for Arsenal in 2010 from Norwich and the republic of Ireland youth has made six starts for the Scottish side and has found the net on one occasion.

    Wilshere Song

    Nasri Van persie Arshavin

    Chamakh

IMO this is our best formation for Saturday, VP has awesome vision and i believe hes qualities are best suited to play behind a central striker. if VP is starting we should have no problems unlocking the inevitable fulham bus that will be waiting for us

Anything less than three points and the squad and AW will be getting it with both barrels. After the defeats you mentioned we just cannot afford to drop anymore points at home to mediocre opposition if we want to challenge for the title.

The presenter on Talksport is Adrian not Andy. He is a wind up merchant though !

cheers…where the hell did I get ‘Andy’ from?

I think for the first time after a long time we will see Chamakh and RVP start together and I think we should send JET to a physically strong team like Bolton or Wolves and not to a technically good team

Perhaps the stars are finally aligning in our favour? I will wait and see for this Fulham game but the augers are positive…… not that has helped in the past. There seems to be more of a killer instinct now that RVP is back and with Nasri,Chamakh and Wilshere so dominant in attack and counter-attack we should see some goals. It is basically a battle of goalkeepers tomorrow since Schwartzer will want to show Arsene what he is capable of and Fabianski will want to show Arsene that he is a better option.
    Should be an interesting game!!!!!!!!!111111
