The Spanish paper AS is reporting that the deal to bring Nuri Sahin to Arsenal has been completed and it is now just left for the two clubs to confirm the deal.
The paper is stating that Sahin’s agent, Reza Fazeli, completed the deal yesterday which will see Sahin join Arsenal on a season long loan for wages of €2.8m with no option to buy the player at the end of the loan deal.
Sahin, who was born in Ludenscheid, Germany, in 1988, started his football career at Meinerzhagen before joining Borrusia Dortmund’s academy in 2001. He would go on to become their youngest ever player, making his debut in August 2005 against Wolfsburg aged just 16 years and 335 days before becoming the youngest player to score in the Bundesliga, finding the net against Nuremburg just three months later. Sahin was also the youngest player to make an international debut for Turkey.
This one is probably true. AS expect confirmation ‘within hours.’
